We just started potty training our 5 year old daughter this weekend, the first day she wet herself in her potty training panties every 30 minutes. The second day, she started to do better, and had wet herself a few times during the day with an hour in between. Today, her 3rd day, she has begun to wet herself every 30 minutes again after school. I do have her in a pull up for now at school, and for bedtime. For potty training at home I have been putting her straight to the potty and in her training panties. I am planning to bump up the time to every 15 mins at home instead , do you think this will be a good solution right now, or any other suggestions? Thank you again!

Yes you're spot on, if you keep missing it in between each visit when the time is 30 mins, then I would take her more. But I would also be limiting movement so that when I see an accident happening I am closer to the bathroom. Remember at this stage as long as some pee lands in the toilet, she gets the reward. So no free rein of the house.. and someone always has her in their peripheral view. What is the reward?
Also training pants, I dont love because it might make it more comfortable to have an accident in. So I might switch to straight underwear. If she has an accident, she needs to clean up, hand over hand. We say "uh Oh, Pee goes in the potty, lets clean up". Then she also has to stop what shes doing to clean it.
