My son loves the pool and bath, but he is constantly drinking the water. He is 4 years old and an emerging speaker. I tell him repeatedly not to drink it he still does. He is a big oral sensory seeker so I believe that is why he does it, not because he’s thirsty. He also drinks water out of his water table. He loves the water, but I don’t want him drinking pool/bath water. Any tips or suggestions? He used a chewy necklace for a while when he used to mouth toys and we had success with that, but it might be hard to use while swimming though.
